The Worst Kind Of Girls
Sinbad walked down the streets avoiding most of the people. He didn’t bother them, they did the same, it was how it worked. Since the incident with Damien and Proteus, the young thief hadn’t seen the boys. That was good for him, he didn’t need those boys to try to make his life worse.
However somehow he was wanting to see Proteus again. It had been the first time that a boy, no anyone had shown him kindness. Yet, his spirits were dampened when he had not seen him again.
“Excuse me.” A voice drew his attention. In front of a building was a young girl. Long black hair flowed over her shoulders, her face was delicate and her eyes were calm and collected. Though Sinbad was not sure of it, he thought her eyes looked yellow but that must have been a trick of the light.
A purple dress covered her feet, so he couldn’t’ see her legs. She was cute. “Yeah.” Sinbad asked walking up to her.
“Could you help me?” she asked. “I am trying to get up there.” She pointed to the small windowsill.
“Why?” Sinbad asked suspicious.
The girl frowned. “A bird stole my bracelet, it flew up there.” She said.
Sinbad looked up at the window sill again, a sparkle of gold caught his eye as the sun shined down.
“I don’t know…” Sinbad said. “It’s pretty high up.”
“Please.” The girl said. Her eyes getting huge like a puppy’s. Gosh she was cute. “I will make it worth your while.” She said placing a hand on his shoulder.
“What are we talking about?” the boy said suddenly interested.
“Once you get that bracelet, then we talk.” She said.
Sinbad sighed, well this wasn’t going to be easy. “Fine.”
“Oh excellent.” She said clapping her hands with delight.
Sinbad smirked as he looked around for a way up to the windowsill. A small vine of flowers seemed to be just the way. Cracking his knuckles, he stared to climb. It was easier than it seemed. The view from up high was great. Sinbad could see the kind of ships that went back and forth. Once reaching the sill, he reached for the bracelet.
“Stop! Thief!” Starteld by the voice, Sinbad lost his grip and fell from his spot only to land on his feet. Glancing up, there was a woman from the same window. She was yelling at him.
“I didn’t steal anything.” He said as the crowd’s commotion caught the sight of local guards.
Taking off into a run, Sinbad did his best to blend with the crowd. He had to get off there and back to safety, find that girl. Dodging several people and kids, the thief made his way back to his hideout.
With a sigh, he sat on the ground, panting. He stared at the bracelet. Gold and covered in jewels, Sinbad was fascinated by the gems. Reflecting in the sun, he wondered if it really did belong to the girl in the market.
“Why did she leave me like that?” he asked. “Is this really hers?” that woman had called him a thief, so that must have meant that the woman in the window owned the bracelet.
“She lied to me.” He growled throwing the bracelet into the wall.
This was the worst day of his life. He shouldn’t have stopped to help her. He hated them. Hated people, hated them all. Tears burned in his eyes. His parents left him here.
The sound of footsteps made him turn around. A young girl, curly blonde hair stared at him. “Have you seen my dolly?”
“No!” Sinbad snapped. “I haven’t seen your precious dolly.” He said. The girl looked at him with tears flowing down her cheeks.
“Get out!” he snapped. “Leave me alone!”
The girl took off, tears running down her cheeks. Great. He had made someone cry. What was wrong with him? Taking a seat, he noticed something in the rubble. A small doll. Blue eyes and red hair, dressed like a princess. With a sigh, he stood up to find the girl hiding in the shadows.
“Here.” He said throwing her the doll before returning his home.
Sinbad covered his face with his hands before hearing another voice. Angered, he looked up, only to see something small moving in the stuff.
“I swear..” he growled holding up a stick.
A small dog emerged from the pile. Yellow and brown, it stared at the boy. Wagging its tail, it barked at him. A tiny smile appeared on Sinbad’s face. “Hey there little guy.”
The dog barked as the boy took a seat. It climbed into his lap and slept. “Well, isn’t this touching.”
Sinbad looked up to see the girl from before. “What do you want?” Sinbad snapped.
“I came to get my bracelet.” She replied.
“How do I know it really is yours.” Sinbad growled.
“I got you to steal it didn’t I?” she replied. “Therefore it belongs to me.”
Sinbad sighed and threw her the bracelet. She caught it, and with a small smirk she turned to walk away.
“What about our deal?” Sinbad asked. “You promised me something worth while.”
“Oh but you already have it.” She replied.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“I gave you a friend.” She said pointing to the dog. “See you later Sinbad, I have a feeling we will be seeing each other real soon.”
“Wait, how do you know my name?” Sinbad asked.
“That’s my little secret Sinbad.” She said before disappearing into thin air with a wave of her hand.
Sinbad stared in shock before turning to the dog who was asleep in his arms. A tiny smirk formed on his lips as he gave the dog a rub on the back. “Remind me to never, ever trust a woman…” he said to the dog. “I don’t need anyone besides you.”
The dog snuggled against him, growling in a dream. “You are going to be my only friend,” he smiled as he finally found a name for the dog. “Isn’t that right Spike?”

Another little sinbad fic. After an interesting conversation with Poca last night, i had to come up with a reason why Sinbad hates girls so much. Poca and i had a conversation of what Eris would look like as a little kid or even if she had a human form.
So here she is. In case you didn't recongize her.
so enjoy little sinbad
