(Ooc: Listening to "When will my Life Begin" xD Set on March 19th late afternoon so Flynn and Sinbad have time to meet up before :3. Closed to Flynn, Sinbad, Rapunzel and after some introductions and chat, the flying future kid can pop in :3)
Rapunzel twirled off, having just danced in the center of the kingdom another night. Her hair had been lose for quiet awhile until a group of girls had offered to braid the 70 ft long expanse when they'd noticed the silky hair being stepped on. But that was yesterday, and now her hair was a bit frizzy, nothing to noticeable though. She'd finally seen the lanterns up close! She figured Mother would be out for another day or two, so staying in the kingdom for the day didn't seem like a big deal. It was so lively, and the citizens were so nice! Though she'd caught sight of some rather shady figures that didn't really look like they belonged. But then again, the townsfolk were welcoming and sweet and she had no doubt that they'd be treated nicely.
Skittering off, wheeling in wide circles, Rapunzel found herself on a cobblestone road she'd never seen before. Alight with curiosity, the blonde followed it, and she heard water lapping against walls and earth. At the next turn of the building to her right, Rapunzel saw ships, small sailing ships, canoes, and a rather odd one. No one seemed to be aboard the docked ship, it's brilliant red sails were tied down, but rays of sunshine would catch the flapping fabric every so often and illuminate it. Intrigued, the blonde stepped closer. Her emerald eyes round with intrigue. Her bare feet must have been grimy, but her purple/pink dress seemed perfectly intact. Her handy frying pan held securely in her right fist.
A small rock wedged itself against Rapunzel's foot, instantly taking her bare foot up, much to quickly. The girl hopped around, holding her foot and trying to regain the lost balance.
"Woaah, wooah, WOOOAAAHHH" And Rapunzel went over the cobblestone street's edge, landing heavily onto the ship. The breathe was knocked out of her, and she lay still for a moment.
And then she had a frenzied excitement, propping up on her fair elbows, the girl looked around the ship, it was quiet grand, the wood was shining slightly, the dark and light contrast giving the ship a tough, but smooth edge. She sat up, feet under her, dress poofed around her legs. The thick braid, tickled the wood, and brushed against her back. Looking around with curiosity, the girl suddenly heard footsteps. Instantly thinking of thugs and ruffians, the girl wedged herself in the corner, were she might be undeteced by someone entering the ship in a hurry. Her frying pan was raised defensively, read to be used on the girl's unsuspecting thug or ruffian who entered the ship so she could make a swift getaway.

A tall tan muscular man walked out onto the ship with a big yellow and very happy dog behind him. Sinbad sighed and gave the dog a rub behind the ears. "Take a look at it Spike, first time you've been to a Kingdom besides Proteus's huh?" he smirked and leaned over the edge. "Just imagine what kind of stuff is there."
He knew very well the dog couldn't answer but the rest of the crew wasn't exactly there at the moment and Spike was the one animal that the man could talk to. Rubbing the back of his neck, he took in the sight of the kingdom again.
It was huge, and well seemed to be lively, filled with people. Not that he minded. The pirate enjoyed stealing when there was an audience.

And with that, Rapunzel swung. She'd stealthily gotten up from her hiding place as the man turned around. The dog had given her a funny look but made no attempt against her. He seemed sweet. But she wouldn't take chances with the man, closing her eyes as she cocked back her arm, letting lose, and swinging the frying pan towards him.
She felt her hair swing with the momentum, and when she opened her eyes she'd almost spun full circle and was slightly dizzy. Carefully the blonde turned, peering over to where she'd thought she'd hit the man, remembering the small squeal as she swung.

Sinbad felt the thunk of something hard against his head, "Ow." he replied, clearly it had hurt but luckily it didn't hurt that much. When people said he had a hard head, he always ignored it, however this time maybe they were right. Having a hard head could come in handy. Turning to face his opponent, he drew a blade ready to face the man who dared board his ship.
However, the frown on his face proved more than disappointment when he saw a young girl with lots and lots of blonde hair. Wow, that was a lot of hair. Rubbing his temples he did his best not to look angry. "What..." he said through gritted teeth. "was that for? and for that matter what are you doing on my ship?!"

Rapunzel skittered back, she hadn't knocked him out, and she didn't have a plan B. Mother will be furious... was her only thought at the moment. The man had a hard head, she hadn't expected him to continued standing with force like that. Maybe she wasn't as strong as she thought, and Rapunzel raised her frying pan to block the man's blade if he tried anything. She suppressed a squeal, he sort of and sort of didn't look like a thug or a ruffian.
"Uhm.." she remembered not to look afraid or stammer, so she puffed out her chest and stood slightly taller. "Well, I wasn't sure what you'd try." she started, but was unsure of how to go on. " And I fell into your ship." she crossed her amrs over her chest, raising her chin a centimeter, frying pan still cocked in Sinbad's direction.

Blinking he put the blade back into the holder which he kept on his back. Raising his eyebrow he smirked. "Well i've got to admit, i have never seen a woman actually hit a man with a frying pan before, i'll give you credit for that one." he looked at Spike who was watching the woman with interest.
"Though i don't think it will do you much good against me. I'm one of the best sword fighters in Saracyse. and I don't know if a frying pan will be much of a chance against my blades."

Rapunzel shrugged at Sinbad's first set of words, though she was slightly pleased. Points for originality. she mused to herself. She shot the dog a smile holding out her hand to the tan dog. Squatting down so that dog might feel more comfortable approaching her, Rapunzel looked up at Sinbad, a smile pulling her pink lips.
"Hey, you'd be surprised." she twirled the black pan in her left hand, as if showing it off, but the metal clattered against the wooden deck and Rapunzel quickly scooped it up, pretending nothing had happened. She looked at his, hands, the blades had disappeared into the holsters, though she still wasn't completely relaxed, and the frying pan was held firmly in her grip. She gave the ship another once over, her eyes lingering on the red sails. The ship was much different from any docked here. He must have gotten it at the Syracyse place.
"Syracyse?" she questioned lightly, her eyes returning to the tan man.

"It's an island in Greece." he replied. "Not that it matters but its where i got this ship from." He was not about to mention that he got it as a teenager by some weirdo claiming to know his parents. Not even he knew his parents but he took it on a whim. "This is Spike." he said making a nudge to the dog who had slowly approached and started wagging his tail more.
"He gets a little slobbery so i would be careful." a smirk on his face. Suddenly it dawned on him. "What do you mean you fell onto my ship."

"Oh" she replied simply. She didn't know much about the world, being in a tower for now, 19 years. She offered her hand to Spike again, scratching his head and underneath his chin. "Good boy!" she cooed in one of those almost mushy mother-crooning voices. But the man had confirmed her suspicions that the ship was foreign, no way it was part of the kingdom, it was to exotic.
At Sinbad's next question, Rapunzel blushed. "Well, I just, you know, fell." she pointed over to the wall that the ship was docked by. "I was there." she pointed again, "And now I'm here." she waved the frying pan in a circular motion, as if gestured around herself. That was simple enough right?

Sinbad looked at the location she was pointing at. "Uh,huh." he replied. "Well i guess that makes sense, woman have a way of falling on to my boat all the time. I am that irresistible." he replied pointing at himself. "Well now that i've gotten my story out of the way what's your story sweetie."

Rapunzel glared at the man, not to seriously, just indignantly. Arrogant. Mother had not warned her of men like that. They seemed to be irritating when they wanted to be.
" I know, that's how the ship pulled me down." she rolled her eyes and continued to pet the dog shaking her arm in the man's general direction as a glob of slobber landed on her arm. After that she stood up again, and she realized that she was shorter than the man. Placing a hand on the dog's head, she replied to Sinbad, " Well, I turned 19 yesterday, and I came here to see the lanterns." she kept it vague, Mother Gothel would be VERY angry if she revealed her home or anything else. She recalled many of mother's lectures on how the world was cruel and dangerous, though so far, it didn't seem so. Except, well the man who's ship she'd fallen onto had almost pulled a blade on her.
"And you?" he hadn't told her much, and she stared at him, her eyes wide and curious.

"The lanterns?" okay clearly this woman was either dropped on her head as a baby or just wanted to make stuff up to remain on the ship. He decided the latter before nodding. "Oh you know, left here to see the world. It gets pretty boring in Syracuse this time of year." he said leaning back on the railing of the ship. He was not about to explain the real reason why he was here. That he had stolen an important treasure.
She had her secrets, he had his. "So, what's so great about these lanterns?"

"Uh huh." she said, feigning absentminded-ness. She admired his ability to travel the world. She'd only seen her tower, the clearing it was in, the kingdom, and the woods inbetween. And that was only in the course of what? Three days? But she only bobbed her head, as if agreeing with Sinbad. "What's Syracuse like?" she questioned, intrigued by the idea of more kingdoms like this one.
"Oh. The lanterns..." They're just these things the kingdom sends up every year on the 18th which happens to be my birthday, and I can't help but feel I'm apart of their reason. "They're this thing the castle does every year on the 18th. It's a celebration I think. You just missed it." she explained the facts, not the personal opinions. Her words sounded wistful, having seen the lanterns up close, she still felt like she was missing something, she'd have to come back next year, to try and finish the puzzle.

Sinbad nodded. It did seem interesting sight. If you were a girl. He was not a woman. he was a man! a very manly man. "Syracuse is pretty interesting, not much to see unless you like water and more water. Then you get to my friend Proteus's place, he's like some crowned prince or something so he lives in this great palace."
He smiled, wondering how Proteus was doing right now. Probably married to Marina or something. "There's this one thing that is really interesting, its called the Book of the Peace, it might look like an ordinary book but it like holds the key to peace in Syracuse."
Spike was enjoying the fact that a woman was on the ship. Sinbad however was starting to feel weird about it. He had never, ever, ever had a woman on his ship before and now he was talking to one.
Yet, he couldn't bring himself to kick her off, not yet

Rapunzel listened to Sinbad's tale, clear fascination in her eyes, absently stroking the dog's head. So he was friends with a prince, and Rapunzel wondered if that meant the man was some sort of nobility or prince himself. And then Sinbad mentioned the book.
"Wow, one book?" it seemed odd, one book holding everything to know about peace. Of course Rapunzel didn't realize that the book had some sort of magic in it, she'd only had three books, and they all had words and story lines. "That must be a book book, full of writing." she murmured, clearly intrigued by the thought.
She scratched Spike behind the ears, and rubbed his temples, receiving a slobbery lick on her arms.
